Portrait Generator

This is a comprehensive guide detailing how to use the portrait mode image generator.

Last updated 1 year ago

The focus of portrait mode is to generate realistic faces.

Because of this, the style is set to variations of colors that you want in your image -since it will use the same AI Engine for all of them- and the photography settings are focused on the composition, dimensions and identity.

Composition

This allows you to focus on different views of the person:

  • Close-up: For faces and hyper-realistic portraits.

  • Wait-up: For a waist-view of the person

  • Full-body: For the entire body view

Dimensions

Exactly the same as in Image generator, you can adjust the size of the image.

Identify (beta)

You can also customize the look that you want your ai-generated person to be inspired upon. For example, this will generate Praetorian soldiers with the facial features of this picture from Elon Musk.

Setting any arbitrary number here (like 42 or 12345) will allow you to consistently get the exact same results with the same prompt.

There is a creativity trade-off since you will get less variations (since the same prompt will generate the same results) but it allows you to ensure you always get what you are looking for.

Finally, it is worth noting the difference in results between portrait and image generation mode, where one is clearly more realistic and focused on the facial features than the other one.

And there you have it! You are now ready to create amazing portraits with KREA.
